Goals

• Promote the training of preK-12 teachers of Spanish. 
  
• Provide professional development opportunities for current and future teachers of Spanish.
  
• Provide all those who may be intrested in the knowledge and promotion of Spanish with an ample supply of materials. 
  
• Establish a system to permit educational institutions to use these resources. 
  
• Organize workshops, seminars and work groups related to the teaching of Spanish and research in applied linguistics and literature.
  
• Organize conferenceses, film series, recitals, and cultural activities that relate to the Spanish language and culture.
  
• Promote and participate in initiatives that favor students at different levels. 
  
• Disseminate information about the programs of the Education and Science Office and other Spanish institutions.
